This Kawada nGS-003 nanoblock nanoGauge set recreates the sleek L0 Series superconducting maglev train in micro-sized building blocks, complete with track and control elements for the nanoGauge line. The real L0 Series was developed by JR Central for Japan’s Chuo Shinkansen maglev project and uses superconducting magnets to levitate and propel the train at extremely high speeds. In 2015, an L0 test train set a world rail speed record of 603 km/h, making it one of the most famous high-speed train designs ever built.
