Kaminarmon is a Nanoblock kit depicting Kaminarimon, the famous “Thunder Gate” at the entrance to Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo. The real gate is known for its bold red pillars, black tiled roof, and huge hanging lantern marked with the kanji for thunder. Originally built centuries ago and rebuilt several times after fires, Kaminarimon is now one of Tokyo’s most recognizable landmarks and a popular photo spot for visitors heading toward the temple’s shopping street, Nakamise-dori.
