Himeji Castle

Himeji Castle is one of Japan’s most famous and best-preserved castles, known for its elegant white exterior and layered rooftops. Often called the “White Heron Castle,” it dates back to the early 1600s and survived wars, earthquakes, and modernization largely intact.
