Kaminarimon

Kaminarimon, or “Thunder Gate,” is the famous outer gate of Senso-ji temple in Tokyo’s Asakusa district. Its huge red lantern and guardian statues make it one of the city’s most recognizable historic landmarks. This Nanoblock kit recreates the gate’s bold red pillars, black tiled roof, and festive entrance details in miniature form. The real gate has been rebuilt several times over the centuries, with the current structure dating to 1960.
