Space Center recreates a shuttle launch scene, complete with an orbiter, external fuel tank, solid rocket boosters, and launch platform. The design is inspired by NASA’s Space Shuttle program, which flew from 1981 to 2011 and made reusable spacecraft a major part of human spaceflight. Shuttles carried satellites, scientific instruments, astronauts, and key components of the International Space Station into orbit. This Nanoblock kit captures the dramatic vertical stack used during launch in a compact display model.
