The nanoGauge Shinkansen Series 0 kit recreates Japan’s original bullet train in miniature Nanoblock form, with its classic rounded nose, blue-and-white livery, and multi-car profile. The real Series 0 debuted in 1964 on the Tokaido Shinkansen, just in time for the Tokyo Olympics, and became a symbol of Japan’s postwar technological progress. Capable of high-speed service that transformed intercity travel, it remained in operation for decades before retiring from regular service in 2008.
