This Nanoblock kit recreates the Series E231 train used on Tokyo’s famous Yamanote Line, recognizable by its silver body and bright green stripe. The real Yamanote Line is one of Japan’s busiest and best-known urban rail routes, running in a loop around central Tokyo and linking major districts like Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ueno, and Tokyo Station. The E231 series entered service in the early 2000s and became a familiar sight to millions of commuters before being gradually replaced by newer E235 trains. Its boxy commuter-train shape makes it a great subject for a compact Nanoblock model.
